Crank Seal Upgrade for Brose Motors

An improvement for all Brose motors, extending bearing life – X-Ring seals to protect the motor from water ingress.

These x-ring seals are placed between the crank rods and the motor and help improve engine sealing, increasing bearing life. Especially the on on the chainring side, where there is some space between the two axles of the motors.

These seals are part of our Brose engine service, but if you want to put them on by yourself, they are easy to install – you just need to remove the cranks and put the X-rings on. We recommend that you also put grease behind the gaskets, to further increase the sealing.

They are compatible with all Brose engines (used on many bikes such as Specialized Turbo, Decathlon, Bulls, Rotwild).
